I want to travel with my pet:

Make sure to check the regulations of the destination country and prepare all the necessary documents in advance. Verify if your pet microchip is in accordance with the ISO standards 11784/11785 which are internationally recognized.
To ease your mind and enjoy your travel in the safest way, before departing bring your pet to the vet to check that the microchip is properly working and that the scanned number corresponds to the one available in your documentation.

What does it mean that my pet microchip is in accordance with ISO standards and why it is important?

The International Standard Organization (ISO) recommends and approves global standards with the intention of creating worldwide consistency and quality for your pet identification.
For example, if a dog implanted with an ISO standard 11784/11785 microchip gets lost, all ISO scanners, which are mostly used, will be able to read the pet chip number, if a non conform chip was used standard readers might not be able to read the number or even detect the chip.
All Datamars microchips are produced in accordance with the ISO standards 11784/11785, frequency is 134.2 kHz.
